According to Turkish Football, Galatasaray are plotting a January loan move for Liverpool striker Divock Origi.
What’s the story?
The Istanbul giants are still seeking a replacement for last season’s 32-goal hero Bafetimbi Gomis, and have identified Origi as a potential candidate for the vacancy.
A switch to the Super Lig title-holders would certainly be in Origi’s best interests as it is clear he has no future at Anfield. At 23 years of age, Origi needs to be playing week in week out, especially if he is to battle his way back into the Belgium national team set-up.

Celtic would would be wise to try and take Origi on loan in January.
A mutually beneficial reunion
The Scottish club’s manager, Brendan Rodgers, was in charge at Anfield when Origi was brought to the Premier League outfit and the striker produced some of his best form in that time. A reunion between the pair at Celtic Park could help Origi get firing on all cylinders again.
Equally, after a tough start to the new season that included failure to reach the Champions League group stages for the first time in the Northern Irishman’s tenure, the Bhoys could do with a winter window boost. Origi would provide a fresh injection of pace and attacking threat that ought to help Celtic secure yet another league title triumph in the second half of the season.
