Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to provide an update on the situation surrounding Christian Eriksen.The Denmark international continues to be linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur as his contract will expire at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.The attacker played the full 90 minutes against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, though, which was somewhat of a surprise.Inter Milan are seemingly at the head of the queue for the former Ajax playmaker, who has also previously been linked with Manchester United.According to Romano, Eriksen wants to join Inter this month rather than wait until the end of the season.That scenario would rely on Antonio Conte’s side agreeing a price with Spurs, though, and Romano has claimed that the Serie A giants have offered €10m (£8.6m), while the London club are looking for a figure closer to €20m (£17m).Money talks: How much did Levy pay for each of these Spurs stars?The journalist’s update on social media can be seen below:
